Daniel Stacy Barron is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, did post-graduate work at the University of Illinois at the Medical Center, and awakened in the Zen Buddhist tradition in the late 1980’s.
After his enlightenment, Barron realized that almost all distortions and errors in psychological and spiritual teachings involved how neither religious or psychological ego-based paths of the west, nor non-ego-based esoteric paths of the east, ever understood the true nature, primacy, and significance of the human emotional body.
As a result, Barron created an overall paradigm and dharma for the enlightenment of the human emotional body called Emotional Body Enlightenment (EBE) that challenges 120 years of psychological premise and practice, and a new spiritual paradigm called Theohumanity that challenges 5000 years of eastern transcendental teaching about the criteria for attaining enlightenment, western models of what we call God, and the nature of Universal Oneness and Love.
Barron is founder of Project Theohumanity, and author of Enheartenment, Him, Gnospel, There’s no such thing as a negative emotion, the theatrical play, Josie, and an upcoming work, Frozen Feminine/Muddled Masculine. He offers weeklong retreats, weekend teaching seminars, and is available to talk to your group.
